Kristian Quintana Returns for his 7th Sidekicks Season

Allen, TX (June 24, 2022) - The Dallas Sidekicks have announced the return of a veteran defender, Kristian Quintana. Quintana has been with the Sidekicks for six seasons and this will be his seventh.  

This past season, Quintana played in 16 out of 24 games and had one goal and three assists. Despite missing eight games due to injuries, Quintana made the lineup consistently due to his strong leadership, physical presence, and aggressive play on the field. 

Throughout his time with the Sidekicks, Quintana has played 61 games and has a total of six goals and six assists. Also, he has a total of 49 blocked opponent shots as a Sidekicks player.   

As a veteran Sidekicks player, Quintana was a key member of helping lead the team into its first playoff run this past season since the 2014-2015 MASL Playoffs. 

Off the field, Quintana is very involved in the local community by coaching Sidekicks Youth Summer soccer camps and clinics and attending other community events throughout the year. 

“To prepare for next season, I’m going to work on my fitness to ensure I have my best season with the Sidekicks yet,” commented Quintana.
