Apple Homecare Medical Supply

Comerica Bank and the Dallas Sidekicks are partnering to spotlight a local area small business for each remaining home game of the season. For the Sidekicks game this Saturday at 7:00pm our Spotlight is on Apple Homecare Medical Supply.

Apple Homecare Medical Supply provides a wide range of home medical equipment and disposable supplies across the state of Texas. The company, owned by Laura and Steve Shankle,  services adults and children with respiratory, enteral feeding, nutrition, incontinent, urological, and diabetic supplies. The small, family-run company also supplies and distributes equipment to hospitals and other healthcare companies for patients who require in-home care.

In 2020, Apple HMS retained its ventilations and respiratory equipment to continue serving their clients, despite requests from other potential buyers in the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. AHMS also continued its practice of donating a portion of its inventory for patients who cannot afford equipment.

Apple HMS service areas include: Dallas (Main Office), Fort Worth, Lubbock, Houston, Corpus Christi, Tyler, Temple/Austin, Abilene, San Antonio and El Paso.
