(ALLEN, TEXAS: February 13th, 2020) The Dallas Sidekicks are proud to announce the City of Allen Fire Chief Jon Boyd will do the honorary first kick at the We ♥️Allen match on February 14th against Utica City FC at 7.30P.

Jon Boyd became the City of Allen's Fire Chief on August 4, 2018. He served as the department's Assistant Chief of Operations since 2012 and brings extensive education and experience of the department into his role. He has more than 20 years of experience in fire operations and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Texas, Dallas. The Allen Fire Department employs more than a hundred staff, including firefighters, apparatus operators, shift captains, fire prevention specialists and more. It provides 24-hour emergency and non-emergency services, as well as public education, enforcement and emergency management.
