Dallas Sidekicks Announce Highly Anticipated Returning Top Talent

The team is excited for the return of some of its most valuable players.

(DALLAS, TX: September 12, 2018) The Dallas Sidekicks announced today commitments from three key players for the 2018-2019 MASL season. The organization is proud to reveal the return of veteran Sidekicks RJ Luevano, VcMor Eligwe and Clark Binning. Per team and league policies, terms of the agreements were not disclosed.

Head coach Simon Bozas states, ”The team we are creating is passionate and more than simply skilled in the sport of soccer. These players are committed and have been waiting for the opportunity to re-sign with the Sidekicks. They are strongly spirited, smart leaders and they’re ready to give our team and our fans everything they have. I feel extremely lucky to have them. There’s an energy with these guys that can’t be ignored.”

According to the Dallas Sidekicks organization, this is the first round of contracts to be completed.

“We’ve got several former Sidekicks returning to the team as well as fresh, new talent we’re excited to share with you,” says part-owner Michael Hitchcock. “Coach Bozas started recruiting players under a new process very early this year. The new process, at the very basic level, equips the team with an advanced way of thinking and playing. Our fans should know that watching their Sidekicks team this season is going to be a real treat.” 

When interviewed, these three veteran players all shared their enthusiasm about the new team and process, as well as how passionate they are to play for their fans this season. The Dallas Sidekicks organization plans to release staff and player interviews at a later date. 

“This is a true team restoration. Under new ownership and leadership, the organization has the best interest of the team and its fans at the core of everything we do,” shares Bozas. “Our fans will surely see the intentional developments we’ve made in structure, process and leadership this season.”
