Dallas Sidekicks Announce Nick Stavrou Jersey Retirement Night

(ALLEN, TEXAS: April 2nd, 2019The Dallas Sidekicks’ next home game is on April 6th at 7.00PM at the Allen Event Center against the Tacoma Stars for Sidekicks Legend Nick Stavrou’s Jersey Retirement Night.

Additional Sidekicks Legends will be in the house pre-game from 6-6.45P for an autograph alley. Some of the confirmed former players and coaches are Gordon Jago, Billy Phillips, Kevin Smith, Mike Powers, Hank Henry, and Kiley Couch, with more expected to attend.

"It is both an honor and a privilege to have my number retired and to have my name placed alongside many of the greatest players to don the Sidekicks jersey. I am proud to have called the Dallas Sidekicks home for 16 seasons and know that they were the only team I ever played for in my professional soccer career,” Stavrou told the Sidekicks front office.

Our in-game promotions also include the ball toss with a chance to win a suite at the game if you participate. One suite is awarded for each home game. The ball toss benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Northeast Texas/Dallas Chapter and more specifically, the Great Strides Walk on May 4th for Team Go Jo!, supporting Josephine “Josie” Baker’s team, pictured below.
