Dallas Sidekicks Announce The Re-Signing Of Fernando Garza For The 2016-17 MASL Season

Dallas Sidekicks Head Coach and General Manager Simon Bozas announced today that the team has re-signed midfielder Fernado Garza for the 2016-17 Major Arena Soccer League season.

Garza a graduate from Midwestern State University finished his senior season in 2012. Garza appeared in all 17 matches making 16 starts on the back line.

He was a key member of a defensive unit; which ranked 15th in NCAA Division II in goals against average (0.76) and 33rd with seven clean sheets.

Garza tallied three assists while placing three of his five shots on goal (60 percent.)

Garza played last season for the Dallas Sidekicks, playing in eight games. He finished the year with two assists, two points and three shots.  Garza has played for the Sidekicks the last two years and has played in twenty-one games, assisted five goals, five points and seven shots.
