Dallas Sidekicks Announce The Re-Signing Of Jamie Lovegrove For The 2016-17 Season

Dallas Sidekicks Head Coach and General Manager Simon Bozas announced today that the team has re-signed forward Jamie Lovegrove for the 2016-17 Major Arena Soccer League season.

Lovegrove attended Hazelwick School in Crawley, West Sussex UK. Jamie played to professionally when he was around 16. He played for Crawley Town FC from 2006 to 2008, then Doncaster Rovers FC from 2008 to 2009, and then came to the US when he was 19 and played for Richland Junior College for two years before coming to the Sidekicks.

Lovegrove played two years at Richland College where he played in 28 matches in the midfield. Accounted for five goals and four assists. Lovegrove earned NSCAA NJCAA Division III All-America honors.

Lovegrove last played for the Sidekicks during the 2014-15 MASL season. Lovegrove has been apart of the Sidekicks since the team returned in 2012. Lovegrove has played in 38 games, scoring 60 goals, assisted 35 goals, totaling 95 points.

The Dallas Sidekicks will be playing its first home game of the 2016-2017 MASL season on Saturday, October 29th.
