Dallas Sidekicks Announce The Signing of Jose Guillen For The 2016-17 MASL Season

Dallas Sidekicks Head Coach and General Manager Simon Bozas announced today that the team has signed midfielder Jose Guillen aka Tony G for the 2016-17 MASL season.

Tony Guillen attended The University of Texas at Tyler. Guillen ended his collegiate career second on UT Tyler’s all-time points list, third on the all-time goals list and at the top of the all-time assists list.

During his time as a Patriot, Guillen helped lead UT Tyler to a 30-17-9 (.616) overall record, two ASC Tournament appearances, an ASC regular-season title, an ASC Championship and an NCAA Tournament win.

The University of Texas at Tyler men’s soccer team reached new heights in 2008, including winning the ASC Championship and advancing to the second round of the NCAA National Championship tournament.

The Dallas Sidekicks will be playing its first home game of the 2016-2017 MASL season on Saturday, October 29th.
