Dallas Sidekicks Announce The Signing Of Nestor Hernandez

Allen, TX (Jan. 12, 2017) - Dallas Sidekicks Head Coach and General Manager Simon Bozas announced today that the team has signed midfielder Nestor Hernandez for the 2016-17 Major Arena Soccer League season.

A three-time All-American, Hernandez totaled 37 goals and 18 assists to finish his career in a Lewis uniform with 92 points - which is the sixth most in school-history. In 2009, Hernandez scored a career-high 16 goals to push the Flyers to their second 'Final Four' berth in school history.

Hernandez began playing during the 2012 season with the Chicago Mustang and last took the pitch during the 2015 campaign with Las Vegas Legends. Nestor Hernandez scored 87 goals and recorded 38 assists in his 48-game career with the Chicago Mustangs, Dallas Sidekicks and Las Vegas Legends.

"He's a proven goal scorer, and will be a huge supplement to our core talent,” Sidekicks Head Coach Bozas said. “I'm looking forward to what he will bring to the quality of our team."
