Dallas Sidekicks Fall To The Baltimore Blast Saturday Night

Allen, Texas (Dec. 17, 2016) – The Dallas Sidekicks fall to 4-5 in Major Arena Soccer League play with an 8-4 loss Saturday Night to the Baltimore Blast at the Allen Event Center.

The First half was a tale of two quarters.  The Sidekicks got out to an early 2-0 lead after the first quarter with goals scored by Jamie Lovegrove and VcMor Eligwe. The Blast came out firing in the second quarter, scoring 4 goals of their own to lead 4-2 at halftime. The Blasts’ goals were scored by Jonatas Melo, Vinicius Dantas and Andrew Hoxie found the back of the net twice.

The Sidekicks came out hot in the third quarter with goals scored by Cameron Brown & Cody Ellis. Tonight, Cameron Brown tied Tatu's record for 20 consecutive games with a goal.

The Blast gained all momentum in the fourth quarter and closed out the game strong on a 4-0 goal run with a goal scored by Jonatas Melo & Tony Donatelli scoring three goals in the quarter to kill off the game.

The Sidekicks’ next home game at the Allen Event Center is December 30t^h against Soles De Sonora. The 30^th is also the Sidekicks New Years Eve theme night, the Sidekicks will be celebrating the evening with a New Years Eve countdown.
