Dallas Sidekicks Hire Director of Sales and Marketing

(ALLEN, TEXAS: May 23rd, 2019) The Dallas Sidekicks have hired Paul Donaghy as Director of Sales and Marketing.

Paul is a sports management executive with a deep passion for the game of soccer. Born in England, he moved to the USA at a young age and grew up predominately in Michigan where he ruled the pitch as a playmaking midfielder. He is a graduate of Michigan State University with an MBA from Wayne State University who moved to Dallas in 1994 to escape the cold winters and pursue business opportunities.

After a successful 20-year business career, Paul decided to make the jump to soccer fulltime in 2015 by running the business operations for the Professional Futsal League and a local minor league soccer teams before purchasing an indoor soccer facility. He is locally involved in coaching where he serves as Director of Coaching for FC FAST and is the head boys’ coach at Leadership Prep High School.

Paul is excited to bring his business background and love of the game to the Dallas Sidekicks.

Michael Hitchcock, a Dallas Sidekicks owner, said about Donaghy, “We're excited to add Paul to the Sidekicks Front Office. Paul brings an incredible amount of sports management and business experience to the Sidekicks that will help us pack the Allen Event Center and provide the best possible experience for our fans and sponsors. We're looking forward to the Sidekicks 2019-2020 MASL season under Paul's leadership."
