Dallas Sidekicks look to end 4-game losing streak Friday night

Allen, TX (Nov. 30, 2016) – The Dallas Sidekicks visit the El Paso County Coliseum for the second time during the 2016-17 season when they challenge the El Paso Coyotes on Friday, December 2 at 8:35. The Sidekicks enter the match with a 2-4 record, while the El Paso Coyotes are 0-4.  Friday’s matchup with El Paso will be the third of four meetings between the two teams.  Dallas’ has won the previous two meetings by a score of 10-2 & 14-7.

The Dallas Sidekicks offense is averaging 7.5 goals per game and scoring 44% of their power play goals. Forward Cameron Brown is 4^th in the league in goals with 10 & is tied for 2^nd in the league in points with 14. Midfielder Jamie Lovegrove has scored 7 goals while assisting 4. Richardinho leads the Sidekicks in assists with 6. The Sidekicks will be without their starting goalkeeper Juan Gamboa for Friday’s matchup.  Eduardo Macias “Choco” will be replacing Gamboa in goal Friday night. Macias last appeared in goal for the Sidekicks during the Sidekicks 14-7 win over the Coyotes on November 4^th.  

The El Paso is averaging 6.3 goals per game and scoring 17% of their power play goal. Midfielder Omar Ledesma leads the team in goals with 4. Defender Leobardo Siqueiros leads the team in assists with 4. Siqueiros also leads the team in points with 7.  Jorge Nava has appeared in 3 games in goal this season. Nava has faced 78 shots & has saved 45 shots. Nava has a save percentage of .577 and has a GAA of 13.61.
