Game Preview: Dallas Sidekicks Look For Second Straight Win Over St.Louis Ambush Saturday Night

Allen, TX (Dec. 9, 2016) – The St. Louis Ambush (0-5) visit the Allen Center Event for the first time during the 2016-17 season when they challenge the Dallas Sidekicks (3-4) on December 10^th at 7:00 pm. The Sidekicks enter the match with a 3-4 record, while the St. Louis Ambush are 0-5.  

The Dallas Sidekicks offense is averaging 8.1 goals per game and scoring 46% of their power play goals.  The team is also killing 76% of their penalties. Forward Cameron Brown leads the team in goals with 12. Brown also leads the team in points with 16. Dallas’ captain Richardinho, leads the team in assists with 8.

St. Louis is averaging 4.2 goals per game and scoring 50% of their power play goal. Midfielder Carlos Contreras leads the team in goals with 4 and also leads the team in points with 5. Midfielder Kentaro Takada leads the team in assists with 4.  St. Louis Ambush defender and team captain Chris Mattingly was named to the Major Arena Soccer League’s Team of the Week for Week Five. Chris currently leads his team and MASL in blocked shots with 18.
