MAJOR ARENA SOCCER LEAGUE LAUNCHES NEW YOUTUBE CHANNEL
KANSAS CITY (Nov. 11, 2016) – The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today the launch of the MASL soccer YouTube channel, and with it an all-new platform for MASL game broadcasts.
Beginning with tonight’s matches, Baltimore Blast vs Milwaukee Wave (#BALvMIL) and Florida Tropics vs San Diego Sockers (#FLAvSD), all MASL games will be shown live on the MASL Soccer channel.
“We are excited for the future with YouTube as our streaming provider. The potential is exciting as we will provide the most exciting sport in the world…to the world,” Joshua Schaub, MASL Commissioner said about the league’s newest media channel.
“In terms of providing our fans with the best possible avenue for enjoying arena soccer, short of being there in person, YouTube’s platform brings us to or above the level of our competitors in the marketplace.”
YouTube broadcasts will allow fans to watch MASL games on multiple devices from virtually anywhere. Games will be immediately archived and available for multiple viewings.
There are ten games in the MASL this weekend, including the season openers for the Chicago Mustangs and St. Louis Ambush, plus the debut of the MASL’s newest franchise, the Florida Tropics.
The MASL was formed in 2014 by teams from the Professional Arena Soccer League and Major Indoor Soccer League. The league represents the highest level of professional arena soccer in the world, and features teams across North America, with teams playing coast-to-coast in the United States and Mexico.
