(ALLEN, TEXAS: June 27th, 2019The Dallas Sidekicks attended the Girl Scouts of North Texas Mall Madness 2019 event. Sidekicks player Cameron Brown and Sidekicks dancers Jasmine, Sydney, and Stephanie attended the event along with some front office staff. The Girl Scouts learned to juggle a soccer ball and worked on their foot skills with Brown while the more rhythmically inclined ladies learned a short routine from the dancers.

The mall was packed with Girl Scouts exploring booths and stores while working on team-building activities. Some of the Girl Scouts’ parents reminisced with the Sidekicks staff about their memories of the Dallas Sidekicks at Reunion Arena and who their favorite players were then. We heard multiple stories about how generations of family members attended the games and how they will be continuing the tradition for the upcoming 2019-2020 season.“It was great to see so many groups come together at the event. I never did any type of scouts or events like that so for me, it was a new experience. It is great to be able to be a part of an organization that involves itself in those types of events. I actually saw so many people that I had a connection with in some way just through soccer. It was a really fun time for me and I was happy to be a part of it,” Brown said.

If you have an event you would like the Dallas Sidekicks to attend, please reach out to alex@dallassidekicks.orgwith your request.
