RICARDINHO CAVALCANTE NAMED INTERIM HEAD COACH OF DALLAS SIDEKICKS


Allen, Texas (December 22, 2021) – The Dallas Sidekicks have announced that former Sidekicks player and current assistant coach Ricardinho Cavalcante will be the interim head coach, effective immediately.


Cavalcante had his first stint as a player for the Dallas Sidekicks organization for one season in 2003-2004. He then played from 2012-2016 and again from 2019-2020. This last season Cavalcante played a dual role as both a player and a coach.

“Coach Ricardinho truly understands the player's needs, while still keeping true to the organization since he has always been a fan favorite. He is going to bring professionalism and experience to the team.”


Their next game is Thursday, Dec.30th at home versus the St. Louis Ambush.
