Sidekicks Dominated By Savage in Friday Night Game

Chihuahua, Mexico (January 13, 2023) -The Dallas Sidekicks faced the Chihuahua Savage on Friday night in Chihuahua. This was the second meeting between the two teams this season.

Savage opened the scoring sheet with two goals in the first quarter of the game. The first goal was scored by Edgar González at the seven-minute mark of the quarter. Four minutes later, Raymundo Contreras scored the second. The score at the end of the first quarter was 0-2.

The second quarter of the game had two goals by both teams. The first 2 goals of the quarter were scored by the Savage with goals scored by Edgar González and Hugo Puentes. Sidekicks player, Gustavo Piedra, scored the next two goals which included a power play goal. The score going into halftime was 2-4.

The third and fourth quarters of the game were dominated by the Savage with eight unanswered goals. Five goals were scored in the third quarter which was scored by Alvaro Luevano, Uriel Zuart, Enrique Cañez, Erick Ponce, and Arturo Valle. At the end of the 3rd quarter, the score was 2-9.

There were three Savage goals in the fourth quarter with one goal by Carlos Hernandez and two by Miguel Angel Diaz. In the last minute of the game, Sidekicks player, Bradlee Baladez, scored the final goal of the game making the final score 3-12.
