Sidekicks Look To Beat Cross-Town Rivals in First Meeting

(ALLEN, TEXAS: November 28, 2019) – The Dallas Sidekicks play their first matchup against the new Major Arena Soccer League expansion team, the Mesquite Outlaws. The Sidekicks will play the Outlaws on the road on November 30th, 2019 at 7.05 PM CT in Mesquite, Texas at the Mesquite Rodeo Arena.

The two teams already have a rivalry even though this will be the Outlaws first season. The Outlaws are coached by former Sidekicks player and indoor soccer legend Tatu along with former Sidekicks coach Nick Stavrou and former Sidekicks player Sagu. Other former Sidekicks players who are on the Outlaws roster include Cody Ellis, Jamie Lovegrove, VcMor Eligwe, and Mike Jones.

The Sidekicks have some new talent on the team this year featuring both homegrowns and international spice. Federico Moojen has signed another contract with the Sidekicks along with strong veteran talent in Cameron Brown, Juan Gamboa, TJ Nelson, and RJ Luevano returning, among others. This matchup will set the stage for the new in-state rivalry.
