Sidekicks Lose First Game of Weekend Doubleheader against Wave

Allen, Texas (March 18, 2023)- The Dallas Sidekicks had an Eastern Conference matchup against the Milwaukee Wave on Saturday Night. This was the first time this season that the Sidekicks and Wave faced each other.


Sidekicks player, Renato Torquato scored the first goal of the game at the four-minute mark. At the 11:25 minute mark, Milwaukee answered back with a goal by Alex Bradley. 18 seconds later, Albert Rodriguez scored making the score 2-1.


Milwaukee started their domination of the game by scoring four goals in the second quarter. Milwaukee players, Qudus Lawal, Shawn Azcueta, Marcio Leite, and Derrick Huffman all found the scoring sheet. Going into halftime, the score was 2-5.


 Six minutes into the third quarter, Milwaukee scored another goal which was by Tony Walls. Two minutes later, Vcmor Eligwe scored. At the 12-minute mark, Alex Bradley added two more to Milwaukee’s score which was 31 seconds apart. The score was 3-8 at the end of the third quarter.


Vcmor Eligwe scored his second of the game one minute into the fourth quarter. However, Milwaukee dominated adding three more goals which were scored by Mario Alvarez, Ben Ramin, and Taylor Pill. The final score of the game was 4-11.
