Sidekicks Lose Their First Game on the Road Against the Tacoma Stars

The Sidekicks traveled to Tacoma, Washington for their first away game of the 21-22 Season with a 3-8 loss. The Sidekicks are looking to find their way this season with a whole new team filled with talented newcomers. 


Tacoma started the game off with a goal in the 6th minute from Michael Ramos to make the game 0-1. Sidekicks player, Erik Macias, quickly answered back with a goal in the 9th minute assisted by Bradlee Baladez to make the score 1-1. Luiz Morales gave the Sidekicks the advantage making the score 2-1 in the last second of the quarter. 


The Sidekicks struggled to find the back of the net in the 2nd quarter and went down 2-5. Goals from Tacoma players Raphael Cox, Michael Ramos, Vinicius Dantas, Jamael Cox, and Nick Perera. 


The Sidekicks regrouped at halftime looking to get back into the game and score some goals. 


Tacoma player, Nick Perera, answers with a goal to make it 2-6 in the 3rd quarter. The Sidekicks tried to gain momentum with a goal from Nago Mbengue, assisted by Gustavo Piedra, making the score 3-6. Tacoma quickly answered back 13 seconds later with a goal by Nick Perera to make the score 3-7. 


Then, Alessandro Canale finished off the game in the 1st minute of the 4th quarter to make the final score of 3-8.
