Ricardinho Cavalcante re-signs with the Sidekicks for the 2019-2020 season

(ALLEN, TEXAS: November 27th, 2019) The Dallas Sidekicks have re-signed defender Ricardinho Cavalcantefor the 2019-2020 Major Arena Soccer League season. Ricardinho has been with the Sidekicks since the 2012-2013 season. Per team and league policies, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

This season Ricky will play a dual role as both a player and an assistant coach for the Sidekicks. He is a staple both on and off the field for the franchise and he is back and ready to take the team to a playoff run. Ricky has coached for various clubs throughout the metroplex and is imparting his vast soccer knowledge on the younger generations to keep the sport growing in the United States. Cavalcante went to Dom João Maria Ogno in Brazil for school. He likes traveling with his family and eating Feijoada. He is a soccer coach at The Pit.

"Fantastic to have to him back! In a game where people believe pace and power are so important we are so lucky to have such a creative genius here to mentor our young guns," Director of Soccer Operations Jesse Llamas said.
