Sidekicks Player Gets Canadian National Team Call-Up

Frederico Moojen Named to 2020 Canadian Futsal National Team
(ALLEN, TEXAS: January 24, 2020) Dallas Sidekicks forward Frederico was named to Canadian Soccer’s Futsal National Team’s 17-man roster for a two-match international friendly series with defending back-to-back Concacaf Futsal Championship winners Costa Rica.
Canada last faced Costa Rica in 2018 for a two-match series where Canada fell 4:5 in the opening match. Team Canada also faced Costa Rica in an opening match at the 2016 Concacaf Futsal Championship falling 2:3 despite two goals from Golden Boot winner Frederico Moojen. "It is very important to me to represent Canada when they call me to do so. I was unable to attend the last camp because we had the Dallas Sidekicks’ home opener. However, I am really excited to join the team in Costa Rica for two very important games vs Costa Rica in preparation for the World Cup qualifiers this May,” Moojen said.
