Sidekicks Re-Sign Midfielder Esai Romero until 2026

Allen, Texas (November 27, 2023)- The Dallas Sidekicks have announced the re-signing of midfielder, Esai Romero, until 2026. Last season marked Romero’s first season with the Sidekicks and in the MASL. Per team and league guidelines, additional terms of the agreement were not disclosed. 

Romero was one of the late additions to the Sidekicks last season signing with the club on January 8, 2023, and making his debut that night. With only 2 goals and 1 assist throughout the season, Romero made an immediate impact on the club by bringing youthful energy and speed to the team. 

 Romero consistently created more chances and had 9 shots on goal. Out of the 24 games, Romero was the Sidekicks Man of the Match twice. 

 The Dallas Sidekicks have their Home Opener on Saturday, December 9^th at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen.
