Sidekicks Resign Fernando Garza

Midfielder Fernando Garza rejoins the Sidekicks 
 for the 2020-2021 season

(ALLEN, TEXAS: June 28, 2020) The Dallas Sidekicks have announced Midfielder Fernando Garza will resign for the 2020-2021 MASL season. This will be Garza’s sixth season with the Dallas Sidekicks. Per team and league policies, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Garza missed his last season with the Sidekicks due to injury so he is looking forward to getting back on track this season. "Nando" played in 15 games for Sidekicks in 2019 notching a goal and three assists. Garza a graduate from Midwestern State University finished his senior season in 2012. Garza appeared in all 17 matches making 16 starts on the back line. He was a key member of a defensive unit; which ranked 15th in NCAA Division II in goals against average (0.76) and 33rd with seven clean sheets.
