Sidekicks Sign Veteran GoalKEEPER Sanaldo Carvalho
 for the 2020-2021 season

(ALLEN, TEXAS: July 10, 2020) The Dallas Sidekicks have announced the signing of Sanaldo Carvalho, Brazil native and MASL veteran Sanaldo to an agreement for the 2020-21 Major Arena Soccer League season. As per team and league policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Sanaldo played for the Turlock Cal Express last year before becoming a free agent at the end of the season. He is the first free agent signing to be announced by the Sidekicks. Sanaldo gives the Sidekicks a strong veteran goalie tandem along with Juan Gamboa. The two faced off against each other in an epic showdown at the Allen Event Center back on March 8 with Sanaldo and the Express getting the better of the two walking away with a 8-7 comeback win.

Sanaldo turned professional at 17, playing for several high-level teams in his native Brazil. He began his indoor career with the Kansas City Comets in January of 2003. He finished his first season 6-2 and was named to the MISL All-Rookie Team. Sanaldo has also played for the Tacoma Stars, Baltimore Blast, California Cougars, Wichita Wings, and Detroit Ignition during his indoor soccer career. As a member of the Ignition, Sanaldo captured a XSL Championship title.

Please join us in welcoming Sanaldo to the Dallas Sidekicks!
