Sidekicks Sign MASL Draftee Trevor Norman for Upcoming Season

by Caitlin Reilly

Allen, TX (December 5, 2022)- The Dallas Sidekicks announce the signing of second-round MASL draft pick, Trevor Norman. Per team and league policies, the terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Norman was born on September 27, 1996, and grew up in Corinne, Utah. He graduated high school at Box Elder in 2015.

Norman played soccer in high school and scored two goals during their 2014-2015 season.

The Sidekicks first spotted Norman at the 2022 MASL draft this past October. They saw potential in him and so General Manger Jessie Vilkofsky and Head Coach Ricardinho drafted him for the Sidekicks in the second round with pick number 23.

“We had high expectations for Trevor after we drafted him in the MASL combine. His work ethic and tenacity at the combine have shown in his development over the preseason,” said Vilkofsky.

“Not only has he made an impact on the field, but he has also become heavily involved in our community efforts. That’s the definition of a Sidekicks player,” said Vilkofsky.

We’re only 5 days away from our Home Opener on December 10th at 7 PM. Come watch Norman and the rest of the Sidekicks go against the Chihuahua Savage at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center. Tickets are on sale now at www.dallassidekicks.com/tickets or by calling the office at 469-393-0160.
