Sidekicks Silent Auction for Charity

(ALLEN, TEXAS: February 26th, 2020) - The Sidekicks are holding a Silent Auction on the LiveSource app to benefit The Derek Holland 60 Feet 6 Foundation in their fight to help stomp out pediatric cancer.

The 60 Feet 6 Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established by Major League Baseball pitcher Derek Holland in 2015. The foundation’s direction has been shaped by Holland’s on and off the field experiences, which have had a profound effect on his commitment to helping others. Named for the distance between the pitcher’s mound and home plate, the 60 feet 6 Foundation serves as a platform for Derek to lend his time, help grow awareness and offer direct financial support to charities dedicated to advancing the research and care for debilitating pediatric diseases, military veterans and their families, as well as organizations that focus on enhancing the well-being of the local community.

Thus far, the professional sports community in Dallas has stepped up in a big way to donate some amazing items. The Dallas Cowboys have donated a prize pack that includes a Dallas Cowboys Wilson limited edition laser engraved football valued at $500. The Allen Americans have donated tickets and a game-used and autographed hockey stick. Soccer family members, FC Dallas, have donated tickets and an Adidas white 2019 secondary replica jersey. More items are coming in frequently and the Sidekicks are ready to help in the fight to end pediatric cancer. The auction is currently up and will end on March 14th at 12.30PM CT. The only way to bid on the items is through the free LiveSource app so don’t miss out!
