(ALLEN, TEXAS: August 19th, 2019) The Dallas Sidekicks are currently accepting applications for the Director of the Dallas Sidekicks Dancers for the 2019-2020 season since our long-time Director, Dusty Solis, retired. The position of the Director of the Dallas Sidekicks Dancers is integral to the Dallas Sidekicks organization and we need a Director who shares the values of Community, Integrity, and Perseverance. For more than 30 years, the Dallas Sidekicks have been one of the Metroplex’s most successful and most beloved professional sports organizations. Since their inaugural season in 1984, the four-time indoor soccer champion Dallas Sidekicks have cultivated a passionate fan base and a powerful presence in soccer-crazed North Texas.

Key Responsibilities 

The Dallas Sidekicks Dance Director oversees the production of dance performances of the Dallas Sidekicks Dancers, whether on the field or at approved Sidekicks Events. They are in charge of hiring dancers and choreographers, running rehearsals, and making decisions regarding creative and practical elements of each game-day Dallas Sidekicks Dancers performance. More specifically, you are responsible for the following:

The Dallas Sidekicks Dance Director develops and implements the following, which includes, but is not limited to: Raising money for Dallas Sidekicks Dancers programs, Coordinating Prep Classes, Coordinating Audition Day processes, Training camp coordination, and providing dancers for all Dallas Sidekicks appearances and events, within the Director’s reasonable ability, along with making sure they are properly attired and arrive on time. The following will also be the responsibility of the Director, running the Junior Dallas Sidekicks Dancers clinic (if applicable), coordinating calendar photoshoot/Dallas Sidekicks Dancers marketing photo shoots and squad photo (if applicable), supervising personal Dallas Sidekicks Dancers social media conduct, supervising the official Dallas Sidekicks Dancers social media pages, overseeing the fulfillment of Dallas Sidekicks Dancers candidates roles and responsibilities, managing Dallas Sidekicks Dancers sponsorship while coordinating with the Dallas Sidekicks Front Office, overseeing and managing the Dallas Sidekicks Dancers game-day performance, working with the Front Office in the Dallas Sidekicks Dancers budget (if applicable), and being responsible for all choreography for the Dallas Sidekicks Dancers.
