Sidekicks Win Two of three gameS in Central Cup 

Allen, Texas – The Dallas Sidekicks got a jump on the MASL regular season with three games in the Central Cup competition featuring the St. Louis Ambush, Kansas City Comets and Wichita Wings. The Dallas Sidekicks finished up the Central Cup strong, winning their last two games, placing them in 2^nd place with a 2-1 record.

The Sidekicks kicked off their first game of the Central cup at home against the Kansas City Comets on December 12th. Dallas was down a goal, 4-3, heading into the final quarter with newly minted All-Star Lipe scoring a hat-trick and continuing his great form from last season. The Sidekicks gave up some fourth quarter goals while chasing the game eventually falling 8-3 to Kansas City, who won the Central Cup with a perfect 3-0 record and really only being challenged by Dallas in the tournament.

 The Sidekicks then went on the road December 18^th to take on the Wichita Wings, defeating them 8-6. Victor Almendariz came up big with a hat-trick followed by Gustavo Piedra scoring a brace with Oscar Romero and Freddy Moojen each notching important goals. The Sidekicks finished off the Central Cup beating the St. Louis Ambush on the road 5-3 on December 20^th. Felipe De Sousa led the team with two goals with Moojen, Julio Varela and Lipe each chipping in with scores. The Sidekicks looked strong in their attack, showing multiple players could come away with goals.

The Dallas Sidekicks will kick off their regular season with their home-opener on January 2^nd looking for revenge against a strong Kansas City Comets team who went undefeated through the Central Cup.
