Allen, TX (January 19, 2019)– The Dallas Sidekicks won against the El Paso Coyotes on the road 10-9 in regular season play Saturday evening. The Sidekicks’ rookie Anthony Powell led the way in scoring with a hat trick, the first of his career in the MASL, and was named the Sidekicks Man of the Match. Captain Ricardinho had one goal and four assists to keep him on the leaderboard for most assists in the MASL. VcMor Eligwe scored two goals, one of which was the winning goal with just seconds left in the fourth to clinch the Sidekicks’ victory. Newcomer Michel also had one goal in his first game of the season.

El Paso played an aggressive defensive game and had two players, Hugo Puentes and Jorge Rios scoring hattricks. Their strong play just couldn’t stop VcMor Eligwe and the Sidekicks tonight. Sidekicks’ goalkeeper Juan Gamboa had a huge game as well, making some decisive saves. The Sidekicks have won all four match-ups against the Coyotes this season.

The Sidekicks’ next regular season game is at home for Youth Soccer Night against the RGV Barracudas on Jan. 26th at 7.00 PM CT at the Allen Event Center. Fans can watch the game on MASL.tv (https://bit.ly/2fwjWcb ) or stay tuned to the Sidekicks’ social media pages for updates.
