The Dallas Sidekicks Enjoy A Day At Allen Sports Fest

(ALLEN, TEXAS: July 30th, 2019) The Dallas Sidekicks participated in this year’s Allen Sports Fest at The Edge Visitor Center. Sidekicks players Cameron Brown and Kristian Quintana attended the event along with Sidekicks dancers and front office staff.

Attendees of the event had the opportunity to walk around and learn more about what’s going on in the Allen area. At the Sidekicks’ table, kids were able to get autographs and pass the ball with Cameron Brown and Kristian Quintana. Both children and adults enjoyed the chance to win Sidekicks merchandise with our inflatable Velcro wall. The wall tests your soccer skills by allowing participants to kick a soccer ball and have it stick to one of the targets. The Sidekicks dancers did a few routines and engaged with attendees. Fans were also able to buy Sidekicks merchandise and learn more about the Professional Futsal League International Challenge taking place on August 17that the Allen Event Center, where the Sidekicks will be facing Team Australia.

When asked how it feels to have the team getting out in the community and connecting with North Texas, Brown said, “It means the most obviously for us as a franchise, this is how you build relationships with fans. And so being out at events like this is very important for us. I am a youth coach as well, so I love just getting to interact with the children and get to see them get involved in soccer.”
