Gusatvo Piedra re-signs with the Sidekicks for the 2019-2020 season

(ALLEN, TEXAS: June 20, 2019) The Sidekicks have re-signed midfielder Gustavo Piedra for the 2019-2020 MASL season. This will be Piedra’s fifth season with the Sidekicks. Per team and league policies, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Piedra went to Plano East Senior High and has grown up in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. In the Sidekicks 2018-2019 season, Piedra had 2 goals and 2 assists and was named the Sidekicks Man of the Match in the Sidekicks pre-season game against the St. Louis Ambush.

“Signing with the Sidekicks means a lot to me. I always wanted to be able to play at a professional level. It feels great coming back on the team as a vet and being given the opportunity to show new players this great experience,” said Piedra. His veteran experience will elevate the level of play on the field for the upcoming season.
