'Toys For Tots' Collection At Allen Event Center Set For Thursday Night

Allen, TX (Dec. 2, 2016) – The Allen Event Centers’ annual Toys for Tots collection will take place Thursday, Dec. 4 from 5-10 pm. Fox 4 News will once again be live broadcasting from Allen Event Center in support of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program. Appearances will be made by the Dallas Sidekicks stars, as well as a Santa and many more.  

FOX 4 News has chosen the Allen Event Center as a live broadcast and drop off location for Toys for Tots, since 2010 with more than 35,000 toys being collected over the last six years. Residents can stop by the Allen Event Center with a new, unwrapped toy, and help brighten the holidays for Allen's less fortunate children.

The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is, “to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.”
